Estate and House Manager

House Managers, Estate Managers, and Butlers

Candidates for these positions must have an administrative background.  We prefer that they have a degree in higher education.  The duties of an Estate Manager can include:

  1. Managing all the properties of a multiple property employer.
  2. Manage the staff of each property including the cross training of each employee
  3. Write a computerized manual for the properties
  4. Oversee the events in the home
  5. Oversee renovations

A butler or house manager oversees the house hold staff of one residence.  They have knowledge of high social etiquette and formal service.   The butler can receive your guests, assist with training of the housekeeper, schedule maintenance and help with inventory.  There are beautifully trained butlers that can put on a beautiful dinner party.  See our Butler services.
