Full time NYC nanny for UES family

Looking for a full time nanny / family assistant for amazing UES family with 2 beautiful kids (11 and 6). Position is M-F 10-8 or 11-9.

The morning would consist of family assistant responsibilities until the children arrived home from school. Some of these duties would include:

– Grocery shopping
– Straightening out the children’s rooms and organizing
– Doing the kids laundry
– Prepping for the kid’s dinners
– Running errands
– Coordinating the children’s schedules and activities

The afternoon would consist of:

– School pick-up
– Bringing children to and from activities and play dates
– Helping with home work and school projects
– Cooking and feeding the children dinner
– Overseeing bathing and bedtime routine

The ideal candidate MUST:

– Be EXTREMELY Organized (scheduling and calendaring is a big part of the job)
– Be FLEXIBLE. There is a set schedule and the mother will give you a forecast for each week, but sometimes hiccups appear and the family needs to know that you are flexible to stay late or come early depending on the situation.
– Have excellent communications skills
– Be college educated
– Be able to help with schoolwork
– Be able to swim & drive (The family has a Hamptons home for the summer months)
– Have a great work ethic
– Be proactive and quick thinking
– Have excellent judgment
