Truly marvelous woman who is involved with many philanthropic organizations is looking for a top-notch Personal Assistant. Her last Assistant was in the job for over 14 years, which speaks volumes. Her Husband’s Assistant is going on year 27! This is a LOYAL, wonderful and appreciative family. The couple travels extensively and own four homes. When they are away, you might work from home. When they are in town, you work out of their home office. Because they travel, it is difficult to have a set schedule. This is not a high pressure job, but its demands are not necessarily 9:00am to 5:00pm, so we are looking for someone who is used to working for a boss who goes from time zone to time zone. Duties are running the day to day, i.e. mail management, filing, liaising with countless service personnel and vendors, logging phone messages, errands, office organization, event planning/support, calendaring, booking appointments, liaising with boards and organizations, scheduling, staff coordination, project management, trip itineraries, executing and tracking purchases and more. There is a terrific support staff (housekeeper/manager, other Assistants, Chefs etc.) and all are expected to work as a team in this very harmonious home. The job is interesting and varied and the bosses are FABULOUS! We are looking for an independent self starter who is looking for a long-term position. There is potential for travel, but travel is not a requirement. Outlook/Mac expertise is a plus.
