National Nanny Training Day!

Infant Specialist Kathleen Sullivan is going to be teaching an Infant Care Course for those of you interested in learning more about newborns as well as adding to your resume.

Many of you have years of ‘on the job’ experience with newborns, however this course will educate you on the science and research behind how we care for babies, along with the importance of educating and supporting new parents.

The Course Will Cover:

•    Bringing Baby Home
•    The First Two Weeks
•    Breastfeeding/Pumping/Formula
•    Sleep
•    Swaddling/And Why
•    Routine
•    Cord Care
•    Sponge Bath
•    Comfort Techniques/The 5 S’s
•    Parent Support
And More

Allison Harber, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor,  and Kathleen will be covering the Saturday curriculum and on Sunday there will be a special guest.

Stella Reid a.k.a. Nanny Stella who is one of the stars of the hit TV show NANNY 911.

Stella is a postpartum doula and a sleep coach as well as a family consultant, a real-life British nanny to the stars as well as an author. Her success led to the publishing of a book she co-authored, called Nanny 911: Expert Advice for All Your Parenting Emergencies, published by Harper Collins.

The course will be in July.  The weekend of the 28th and 29th 2012.

Full day Saturday 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM and half day on Sunday 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM.

Meals and snacks will be provided.

Location will be given closer to the date.

The cost is: $350.00  Half now and half on day of course.
