We are looking for the best house manager/butler in the country to run a fantastic and high profile Malibu Beach Home. This is a LIVE-IN position. The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to answering phones, sorting through mail, dealing with vendors, being a butler to high profile and A List guests when they use this fabulous Malibu vacation home! We would love to find someone who has the knowledge of how to throw a fabulous dinner party and have a possible background in event planning. You will be asked to help serve, place wine glasses in a formal setting and can ultimately throw an exquisite dinner party seamlessly. The family has multiple homes but you would be responsible for the Malibu residence.
Additional tasks could include: stocking the home from anything from soap, lining up the toilet paper to buying fine wines. This is not the job for someone with any kind of ego – you should have a “no job too small mentality.” Must be child and animal friendly as their children will come to visit often.
We would also like someone with management skills as you will be responsible for managing their household staff, hiring various housekeepers and vendors. As you can see this is a Jack/Jane of All Trades kind of position. ANYTHING GOES! So put your seat belt on and get ready for an exciting job where you will hopefully be until you retire!
A background in event planning/human resources, etc would be a major bonus!
