There are three homes: the main residence, an office in the Hollywood Hills, and a rental in Laurel Canyon. The latter two properties don’t require much oversight, but the main house does. Duties are liaising with vendors, overseeing home improvement projects, scheduling home maintenance, managing complex calendars, making/tracking house-related payments, monitoring emails (including tour & rental requests), stocking the house, managing deliveries/returns, walking the property and noting any issues, managing vehicles, scheduling appointments, running errands, pet care (appointments), travel coordination & gift buying. This list is illustrative, but not exhaustive. Familiarity with Sonos systems, WIFI systems & Vantage lighting systems is a plus. Tech wise, candidates should be Google Doc/Google Drive savvy. We are looking for a fully vaccinated candidate who lives on the East side and has minimum five years previous local experience as a Personal Assistant/House Manager. We are looking for candidates in or near Santa Barbara (or elsewhere who are willing to relocate) to work for a very private/confidential family. Discretion is key. The official schedule is M-F from 8:00am to 5:00pm; however, candidates must be comfortable with a changing, flexible, dynamic schedule. Travel is approximately 25% of the year, both domestic & international. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be passport ready. The role is split approximately 50% estate management and 50% personal assistant. Duties are assisting the family, pets, kids, house, and estate vendors. We are looking for an “all in” mindset. Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required. Additional fluency in Microsoft suites and overall tech savviness will be appreciated. The right person for this job is a highly organized, detail-oriented, great communicator/leader who is proficient in managing budgets and scheduling. Must pass background check and random drug tests. Extremely busy Westside family is looking for an amazing House Manager or Estate Manager with some service (butler) background who has many verifiable years of experience. This hybrid role encompasses everything from personal assistant work to house management. As a house manager or estate manager you should have experience managing a staff, handling multiple out of state homes, handling guests, managing events, understand smart-home technology, human resources and much more. Ideally you are meticulous, hands on, have written home manuals, liaised with collectors and managed multiple properties. Your schedule will mostly be 10 to 6 pm. There will be days that pivot based on the family. You will be needed on weekends when there are events at the home, please be flexible

Duties include stocking the house, the fridge, the bar and making sure all the supplies are ordered and in their right places. There will be management of vendors like the gardener and the housekeeper. There are three friendly dogs who may need to go to the vet or taken on a walk. There will be some construction and some interior design work that you are in charge of. There is a second property in Los Feliz that is about 10,000 square feet that will need to be rented and you will be in charge of that. Couple pays on the books with a salary, paid vacation, sick days and paid holildays. 40 hours a week minimum, and hours will likely be 9-5, 10-6 with an occasional weekend.
