Assistant house manager needed in Palm Beach

We have a wonderful role for a friendly, efficient PA for a fabulous family based in Palm Beach, Florida. This is a large residence that’s fully staffed, the role requires management of the house and exceptionally high levels of organisation. It is a busy household so we require this person to work well as part of a team, where collaboration is encouraged and a can-do attitude is important.  We are looking for a candidate that sees longevity in a personal assistant role and is keen to progress within the role. 
 
Responsibilities 
Working under an estate manager and directly with the principals but be able to work with minimal supervision. Skills including organization of the home, shopping, record keeping, running errands and household errands.  This is a live-in position and a lovely staff apartment is provided on the property.
 
50 hours a week with evening and weekend shifts as needed 
Some driving of children needed – the family has two teens who need to be dropped off and picked up from school and activities on occasion
General life admin, managing deliveries, reminding of appointments
Help with travel arrangements and packing 
Pet care and pet sitting of two small dogs  
Some domestic and international travel with the family 
Assisting with events 
Helping to serve at dinner parties or events when needed 
 
Ideal Candidate 
Have an undergraduate degree 
Have high scores on SAT/ACT 
Be willing to work for 2+ years with the family 
Have an excellent driving record 
Be very organised and highly motivated 
Be a great communicator 
Discretion and confidentiality required 
 
Package 
Salary: $75-$90k

Part Time Housekeeper for a lovely lady and her dog in Beverly Hills

We are looking for a fabulous housekeeper with a heart of gold and service to help keep a newly built home tip top and organized. Our client is bi-coastal and would love to find her right hand person for her home here in California. She does tend to travel back and forth so your duties will vary but not your priority! She expects you to be available to her and her home on a regular basis both when she is in town or out of town. This is a 30 hour a week position. The right housekeeper will be a self starter, and be able to manage her work and time wisely. Your responsibilities will be to maintain the house, deep clean, do laundry and iron. There will also be some errands to run, grocery shopping and light meal prep. You will be responsible for making sure all is working in the house. There is a estate manager you will be in contact with. When the lady of the house is in town, her schedule can fluctuate so she needs someone who can be flexible. There will likely be 2 hours on Saturdays for you to come and tidy up. Working hours could be 10-3, 8-2 or some days you may be asked to come stay with her adorable doggie while she goes out to dinner. When the the lady of the house is out of town, you will maintain the house, work on any projects relating to it and cleaning her daughters home once or twice a week. This is a great job! – especially if you are flexible and are looking for a position with a lovely woman who is generous and particular. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a housekeeper, be fully vaccinated, speak English fluently and have a car.

Duties Include: 
• Routine house management like checking physical mail, maintaining/creating organization systems, checking inventory and restocking personal and household products,maintaining consistency of house management standards, procedures, and services.
• Managing and coordinating a personal calendar for 2 principals and the household operations like health appointments, restaurant reservations, personal meetings, pet care and household-related appointments
• Maintaining physical and cloud databases for Principals’ personal and household operations from vital documents and personal contacts to essential travel information and vendor contacts
• Booking and coordinating point-to-point travel and creating travel itineraries for principals
• Running personal errands such as dry cleaning, routine prescription refills and pick ups, processing and tracking returns, taking the dogs to the vet, and preparing principals for travel.
• Supporting the Supervisor with special project tasks like assisting in research related to vendors, contractors, services, or products for special projects like event planning and gift purchases.
• Performing other duties as assigned or required; responsibilities will vary with Principals’ needs.

This role is currently hybrid. The candidate will be primarily onsite at the principals’ home or working from the candidate’s own home. The principals’ also work from home and the candidate will need to be sensitive to this.  This position reports to the Chief of Staff and the Principals.  
 
This is a full time position, operating Monday through Friday.  The hours held are generally 9am-5:30pm, with an hour for lunch, but flexibility on start/end times is required, in addition to the ability to work overtime on an evening or a weekend when it is needed. 

 
Requirements:
• Must have dependable car, valid driver’s license, and car insurance
• Strong computer and tech skills with the ability to use G suite and other programs necessary to carry out job functions, including workflow management programs, cloud databases, employee time clock, and smart home systems.

You will be in charge of cleaning the outside of the property, meeting vendors in the mornings if the Estate Manager isn’t in yet, and working with the great team to keep this gorgeous house a home! They have vendors for specific things, but need a great trouble shooter to address daily issues that come up. You might be occasionally asked to go to the Malibu home, but they have a maintenance person that mostly handles that property.

The client is offering $40 an hour, ($83,200) a year plus $500 gross a month that you can use to pay your health insurance. They also offer paid sick days, paid holidays and paid vacation. This is a generous client who is looking for a loyal and confidential handy houseman to stay with their staff long term.
