Special Needs Nanny needed in Santa Monica

We are looking for an athletic & wonderful Nanny with ABA experience who can help our client’s son with special needs (including ADHD). We’d love to find a Nanny with a Masters Degree in either psychology or child development, though a Masters is not a deal-breaker. There are two boys in the family, ages 7 & 4.5 — and the 7 year old can be tough on his 4 year old little brother, so hopefully you’re very clever, have oodles of patience, and know how to facilitate good behavior. A clean driving record is important and there is a Nanny car for your use. Mom does not work, so you will function as a right-hand family assistant and will be expected to help with all the children’s toys, clothing organization, their bedrooms, submitting insurance forms etc … This family appreciates fantastic organizational skills! The afternoon pick up is always different, as the older boy often goes to occupational therapy or speech therapy. The family would love to set up a standing play date every week to help him with his social skills. This is close to a 40 hour work week and the hours worked are later in the day, i.e. 1-9 or 3-11, when Mom and Dad want to have a date night. Our dream Nanny is animated and REALLY fun!
