Malibu House Manager Personal Assistant Needed

Warm family in Malibu is seeking a full-time house manager personal assistant to work out of their home in Malibu (Point Dume). Though there will be times when the candidate is required to start or finish later, the schedule will typically be 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. This role is based on-site at the 7,500 square foot home, which is set on an acre of land. There is no option to work remotely at this time.
Responsibilities will include; identifying and correcting maintenance issues in the home by engaging the appropriate contractors, managing landscapers and other external vendors, overseeing other staff which includes a housekeeper and nanny, assisting with scheduling booking meetings for the principal, party planning and organization (roughly 4 times per year), traveling with the family (less than 14 days per year), collecting financial information from various sources as requested by accountants bookkeepers, remotely managing three other properties (in Aspen, San Francisco, and Mammoth), helping family friends colleagues book time in the family’s homes and private clubs, assisting with travel arrangements when required, organizing basic maintenance and cleaning of the family’s vehicles, disposing of unneeded items via charity or eBay, and more.
Candidates should be positive, efficient, and solutions-focused, and superbly organized. They should also be able to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks and have experience of basic Excel Google sheets. The family have two young children and a dog, so the household is naturally less formal and candidates must enjoy being part of working around a family who, in turn, value an intimate, happy staff longevity. The family are offering the successful candidate a salary of $115k, commensurate with experience.
