A warm, vibrant, and food-loving family of five is seeking a full-time Private Chef to join their fully staffed household. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of an engaging, curious, and well-traveled family who values creativity in the kitchen, service with heart, and shared moments around the table. They are looking
a chef who loves a wide range of global cuisines — Indian food is a favorite, but not a requirement. Someone flexible and collaborative who enjoys interacting with the family (including their 10-year-old and 6-year-old twins).
A culinary educator at heart – someone who loves talking about food, sharing techniques, and introducing fun new ingredients, flavors, or trends. Please be service-oriented mindset – the family values chefs who are approachable, warm, and don’t mind coming table-side or chatting in the kitchen. Your schedule would be
4-day work week (Wednesday–Saturday, with one crossover day), 10:30 AM–8:00 PM, allowing time for farmers market trips and ingredient scouting. Lunches are typically for the principals, though summer schedules may vary based on kids’ camps. You may spend time recipe testing, preserving (jams, pickles, curds), or harvesting from their lush garden. The family makes their own olive oil and loves farm-to-table cooking. Salary: $175,000 – $185,000 depending on experience. Full Benefits: 401(k) with matching, discretionary year-end bonus, PTO.
