Housekeeper Laundress Opening in Los Feliz

A warm, active family in Los Feliz is seeking an experienced, discreet, and calm Housekeeper Laundress to maintain the daily operation and upkeep of their ~6,800 sq. ft., 6-bedroom, 8-bath residence. This is a hands-on role supporting a child-friendly home (small children, no pets) and working alongside a live-in nanny and other household staff.

Schedule and Compensation:
• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hourly pay, PTO, and benefits ($45 hour DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily upkeep of all rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces
• Bed making and linen care to luxury standards
• Cleaning and care of high-end surfaces (wood, marble, glass, stainless steel)
• Organization of closets, pantries, and household areas
• Trash recycling management and inventory tracking
• Scheduled deep cleaning and seasonal projects

Laundress Duties

• Complete laundry care: washing, handwashing, ironing, steaming, folding, pressing
• Specialized handling of luxury garments, couture, linens, and children’s clothing
• Seasonal wardrobe management, packing unpacking, and coordination with dry cleaners

Household Support and Organization

• Maintain order in shared and children’s areas
• Track supplies and assist with home care coordination
• Support other staff as needed, including light errands or deliveries
• Communicate efficiently via text with the family and management platform

Requirements:

• 5plus years of private household experience
• Expertise in luxury garment and fabric care
• Professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness
• Comfortable working around small children
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English; legally able to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo background check
