Full Time Flexible Nanny Needed in Calabasas

Cool Calabasas Mama is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to primarily support her youngest child (under one year old), with occasional assistance for her three older children (school-aged to teenage).

The family currently has a beloved part-time nanny who works Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from early mornings through approximately 2–3pm. On those days, Mom will likely ask you to start later and stay later to provide afternoon and evening coverage.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the schedule will vary. Mom works in the entertainment industry, and when she is working, some days can extend beyond 16 plus hours. At other times, she is home and very hands-on. There is also the possibility of domestic and occasional international travel, both for work and pleasure, as well as occasional weekend support. This role is only suited to candidates who are genuinely VERY flexible and able to travel internationally. There is a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, with some weeks exceeding that.

Mom is very hands-on and not a strict disciplinarian; however, she is firm about limiting screens. No television or phone time is extremely important to her.

The ideal nanny is nurturing with strong maternal instincts and truly understands how to care for children across all ages, from infants to teens. She is seeking someone who is gentle, patient, creative, intuitive, and who values imaginative play, connection, and child-led engagement. Spanish speaking is a plus!

Qualified candidates will have proven experience with children ranging from approximately 9 months through the teenage years, long-term tenure in previous roles, a clean background, excellent references, comfort with flexibility, changing schedules, long days, and travel, and live in or near the West Valley.

Pay is in the $35 hour range plus paid time off.
