Amazing Family Seeks Governess

A lovely, established Westside family is seeking a polished and experienced Governess for their two young children, ages five and under. Both parents are busy professionals and are looking for a confident, full-charge nanny who brings a calm, structured, and disciplined presence to the home.

In the beginning, the role will require longer days, assisting with breakfast and the morning routine and remaining through the evening and bedtime in order to help establish consistency and strong household rhythms. During school or activity hours, support with children’s laundry, light meal preparation, and general organization related to the children would be appreciated.

Structure, boundaries, and a steady demeanor are especially important to the family. Once systems are in place and routines are running smoothly, the schedule is expected to become more flexible, with slightly later starts balanced by later evenings as needed. Occasional travel, approximately two to three trips per year both domestically and internationally, would be welcomed.

The ideal candidate will bring many years of relevant experience or a background in child development or education (A former preschool teacher would be wonderful!) along with exceptional references, a clean background report, and the confidence to establish strong routines and best practices.
