Extraordinary couple hiring a Full time Housekeeper and Part time Housekeeper in Palo Alto

This wonderful private couple in Palo Alto is seeking an experienced and self-sufficient Full-Time Housekeeper to support their 4,800 sq. ft. residence. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards, works efficiently, and communicates clearly. Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping, daily and deep cleaning throughout the home, proactive upkeep, and comprehensive laundry care for clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and steaming. The housekeeper will also maintain orderly closets, cabinets, pantry, and storage areas, establish efficient household systems, monitor supplies, and anticipate the household’s needs. Light meal preparation and comfort working in the kitchen are highly appreciated, along with support for entertaining, including pre- and post-event resets and occasional late evenings.
The schedule is either Monday through Friday with overlap alongside the current housekeeper and some weekend availability. Or a part tine schedule that would be Thursday through Sunday schedule, with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates must manage time efficiently and complete tasks within scheduled hours. The home includes an older German Shepherd, so comfort around dogs is required. The role requires the ability to work on one’s feet for extended periods, navigate a multi-level home, perform repetitive cleaning tasks, and lift up to approximately 30 lbs.

Compensation is $55 per hour or more, depending on experience, and includes a full benefits package. We are hiring ASAP so please reach out.
