Wonderful Brentwood Family Seeks Warm, Capable Weekend Household Assistant

A lovely, down-to-earth family of five in Brentwood (children ages 8, 12, and 14) is seeking a warm, proactive, and highly capable Weekend Household Assistant to support the flow of their home.

This is a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a true “Jane of all trades”—equally comfortable with housekeeping, light childcare, and general household support—and brings a positive, can-do attitude to everything they do.

Responsibilities will include:
• General housekeeping: cleaning, tidying, making beds, laundry, and ironing
• Light meal preparation for the family
• Driving children to and from weekend activities
• Engaging the youngest child (8) in a warm, active way and helping limit screen time
• Pitching in wherever needed to support a busy, active household

There is always something to do in this home, so flexibility, initiative, and a genuine love of helping families are key. The family especially values someone who is “warm and fuzzy”—kind, upbeat, and naturally engaging with children.

Schedule:
Saturday to Sunday, 10:00am–4:00pm, with some flexibility depending on the family’s weekend plans

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, paid on payroll
