One of a kind Butler opportunity in Atherton and New York

Our dream private client is hiring two exceptional Butlers—one based in Atherton, California and one based in New York—to join a professional private service team supporting an ultra-high-net-worth family.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, anticipating needs, and creating a seamless experience for principals and guests. The Butler serves as both front-of-house and back-of-house support—managing daily household operations, assisting with entertaining and events, maintaining impeccable standards, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, proactive, team-oriented, confident without ego, and comfortable in a role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include guest service, event support, household organization, and providing attentive assistance to an elderly principal while maintaining the highest level of discretion and professionalism. The household operates seasonally between Atherton, CA (December–May) and New York the Hamptons (May–December). During the busy Hamptons summer season, California team members rotate to New York on a two-weeks-on two-weeks-off schedule. Housing is provided while working in the Hamptons. The schedule is five days on two days off with rotating morning and evening shifts. Overtime is available during entertaining and special events. Candidates should be local to the Atherton area or the New York Westchester Hamptons region. Compensation includes a starting salary of $120,000 annually, overtime pay, annual bonus opportunity, 100% employer-paid medical benefits for employees and eligible family members, a 401(k) with employer match, and housing while working in the Hamptons.
