Find & Placing Just the Right Domestic Staff for Your Home is Our Speciality Since 1983

The Help Company was founded back in 1983 for many reasons, but primarily because good help is tough to find! We started by finding and placing exceptional nannies in beautiful homes in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and from there, our domestic staffing services grew. Over the last three decades, we have helped families staff their estates and private residences with impeccable household professionals dedicated to ensuring their homes and/or offices are consistently and lovingly cared for. All of our candidates came with years of experience and verified references.

They are the help you need… and we are The Help Company, committed to making just the right match for candidates and clients alike. We not only have consultants that train new hires (for example, executive housekeepers, organizers and butlers who can train housekeepers), but we also provide a 6-month replacement guarantee to make sure the integration of new household staff runs smoothly. And we’re always here to help clients do right by their employees and themselves, with advice on everything from contracts to raises and other ways to keep the working relationship happy, healthy and productive.

We’re the Go-To Domestic Staffing Agency for LA, San Francisco & Beyond

We understand the importance of keeping your home running efficiently with meticulous and disciplined care — be it mid-century or turn of the century, cozy or cavernous. It’s our job to find the multi-tasking, pro-active professionals to whom you can entrust the management of your estate, whether it is a single, primary residence or if you have multiple residences to be staffed and managed. The Help Company places a wide range of domestic staffing positions, from estate managers and butlers to chauffeurs, chefs, housekeepers, executive, personal and family assistants, and much more.  All of our domestic staff have years of experience, speak, read and write English, drive and are legal to work in the United States. For most estate management positions, the salary range of $100,000 – $300,000/year; other household services such as housekeepers range from 25-40/hour (8-hour minimum).

All of our candidates have impeccable, verified references and are matched to our clients based on the specific range of services required.
