A Wonderful Opportunity in Pasadena

A very special person is being sought to assist a retired couple with their active lifestyle and philanthropic commitments. The position will be based out of their premises in Pasadena. Currently, this position is Monday-Friday but with advance notice, some weekend work may be required. The perfect candidate is a hybrid House Manager/ Personal Assistant/ Executive Assistant candidate. This is a long-term position which may be changed into a live-in situation in the future.

The work will include general management of the household, assisting with household tasks and supervising household vendors such as cleaning services, gardeners, handyman, ironing lady; coordinating with financial advisors to approve bills, coordinating calendars and assisting with financial tasks; scheduling, maintaining and coordinating separate and family calendars and schedules; managing social invitations; interfacing with family and friends; planning travel; coordinating and assisting with charitable obligations; assisting with clerical tasks as needed.

You will also be responsible for domestic and personal duties such as coordinating grocery shopping, running errands and making deliveries, and perhaps driving the couple to appointments and social engagements. The ability and willingness to use your own car is much preferred. There will also be other personal events such as planning and preparing for the holidays. The couple loves to travel, so you will also be assisting, planning and making travel arrangements. They may ask you to join them on some of these adventures.

We are looking for someone with:
Utmost discretion
Maturity
Longevity in your positions
Strong multitasking abilities and excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent driving record
Comfort with international travel and possession of a valid passport
Strong TECH skills (spreadsheets, itineraries, light bookkeeping etc.) Familiarity with Apple systems.
Sensitivity in receiving directions and confidence in managing and giving direction.
