after-School Companion for Amazing 17-Year-Old Boy with Autism

We’re looking for a kind, patient, and responsible individual to be an after-school companion for a wonderful 17-year-old boy with autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to offer companionship, guidance, and support in a fun and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Spend quality time with him after school, engaging in activities he enjoys like math and science
Provide social and emotional support to help build confidence and independence.
Assist with homework, projects, or any creative activities.
Ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for his growth and development.
The Ideal Companion:

Compassionate, friendly, and understanding of the needs of individuals with autism.
Responsible, reliable, and proactive.
Comfortable with providing structure while also having fun and enjoying activities.
Prior experience with autism or working with teens is a plus, but not required.
Hours: 3-9

After-school, typically from 3-9 with flexibility
