Best Dog Walker PA Position EVER: Before reading any further — please note: we are ONLY accepting applicants who live in the Malibu/Oxnard area or the West Valley (near Malibu) and have professional experience both with animals and as a personal assistant. If that sounds like you — please read on! A wonderful couple in Malibu seeks a pet sitter/assistant. Candidates should LOOOOOOVE animals, be very organized and able to handle family assistant duties such as errands, organization, shipping, shopping etc … This is a 40 hour per week position that works primarily M-F from 9am to 5pm. The Principals travel approximately seven days per month — sometimes it’s a couple days at a time and sometimes they are away for a week at a time. They want the pet sitter/assistant to STAY AT THE HOUSE AND TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS while they are away. Two of the dogs are older and have health issues, so the new hire must be VERY comfortable giving medication and must be calm in a crisis. The pets are ADORED and very important. Pay is in the $25/range + $175/overnight on a week night or $200 if you stay over on a weekend, in addition to medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 paid sick days, 3 personal days + major holidays off with pay. This is an AMAZING opportunity for an experienced PET SITTER/assistant who lives near Malibu ONLY! We repeat: loving dogs will not be enough (your own or others) and a willingness to commute will not be enough.
