Busy Family needs an organized assistant and property manager to help them keep things organized! Amazing schedule, mostly Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm plus availability to handle emergencies on text phone after hours. You will be asked to be on site for appointments, other work can be done from home! Likely you will spend around 3 days a week one of the properties. Property management expertise in LA is key. Please note this may only be a 1 year position.

About the Role:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and highly organized individual to serve as a Family Assistant and Multi-Property Manager for our family homes located in Brentwood and Malibu, our investment apartment in Hollywood, and another property currently on sale. This is a full-time position with responsibility for a wide range of assistant tasks and property management functions. The successful candidate will display an exceptional work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Family Assistant Tasks:
• Manage personal appointments for family members, including medical, social, school, and business appointments.
• Handle pet-related duties, including scheduling vet appointments, ensuring medication and health needs are met, and coordinating pet care during travel.
• Assist with home organization, including tidying, closet management, pantry stocking, and coordination with household staff.
• Deal with day-to-day errands such as shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and maintaining family vehicles.
• Act as a liaison between the family and third parties as required.

Multi-Property Management:
• Oversee the operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of all properties.
• Schedule and oversee repairs and renovations, coordinating with contractors, service professionals, and architects as needed.
• Monitor property-related expenses and ensure timely payment of bills including utilities, property taxes, and insurance.
• Facilitate property inspections and manage any necessary follow-up actions.
• Liaise with real estate professionals regarding the property on sale, coordinating viewings and handling any necessary paperwork.
• Manage tenant issues at the investment apartment, including rent collection, lease agreements, and resolution of any disputes.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a private household.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Understanding of large household maintenance and ability to coordinate with service professionals.
• Experience dealing with real estate professionals and an understanding of basic property transactions.
• Proficiency in common computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to respect and maintain the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to respond to needs outside of normal working hours when necessary.
•                  Will require 2 reference checks, including a conversation with previous employers.
