Caretaker needed for clients mom in Napa Valley

We are looking for a kind, compassionate and professional to help take care of our clients ailing mother. Their mom has early stages of Dementia and needs care 24/7. They do not want to use a nursing agency – they want to find educated, lovely and kind professionals who have some sort of experience in care taking.

The family is going to build an all star team of 2-3 care givers to care for their mom so she has constant care.

This job does not require heavy medical duties, but you will need to help her walk to the bathroom, help her get into and out of the shower. There will be a few night shifts where you get up once (maybe in a very blue moon twice) and help her get to the bathroom and then back into bed.

This woman is a beautiful person who loves grabbing coffee or a snack in town. She also loves animals! She has a darling lab – so you must be dog friendly. We need someone who is alert and knows to keep the house doors shut so the dog doesn’t get out (there are coyotes on property) and can also cook simple healthy meals/snacks.

The woman’s two children live approximately two hours away, so we want to find someone who can communicate with them on a daily basis – let them know that the nighttime routine has been completed etc.

We are looking for local Napa/Wine Country residents who have recent experience in an in home support role. We are open to thinking outside the box- possibly you are a nanny or teacher who is looking for a new role. This is such a kind and generous family and want to find the best possible caretakers for their mom!
