East Bay family hiring a forever Nanny

This is one of my favorite clients, based in Danville and truly a dream family to work with. This is a dynamic, flexible role—not a traditional 9–5 position—best suited for someone confident, proactive, and comfortable supporting both childcare and the rhythm of a busy family life. They have three children (ages 8, 4, and 3 months), and are looking for someone who can bring calm, consistency, and a positive presence into their home. The primary focus will be care for their infant, while also engaging with their older children through play, activities, and structured support when needed. They are a very involved household—mom is often home during the week and dad works from home part-time and travels—so they are looking for someone comfortable working in a collaborative environment with engaged parents. The right person will be proactive, reliable, and confident helping create structure, plan activities, and support daily routines. Flexibility is key, as their schedule varies throughout the week with occasional weekend support and opportunities for travel. From May through October, they are more active with events and travel, while November through March is generally lighter. They need someone experienced in childcare or early childhood education who is warm, grounded, and emotionally steady, with strong communication and professionalism. Above all, they are seeking the right fit—someone who aligns with their family’s energy and values and feels like an extension of their home.
