Educated Nanny needed for busy Palisades Family

This family originally hails from the Midwest and is looking to hire a nanny with a similar upbringing /work ethic. The ideal candidate is college educated with a childcare related major, wonderful references, flexibility in their schedule, the ability to travel, experience with newborns- toddlers and hopefully, bilingual!

You must have experience working for a West LA family (Brentwood, Palisades, Santa Monica) to be considered as the parents are busy and want to make sure their nanny can navigate the streets without a hiccup!

They current have two adorable boys, a preschooler and a baby. Mom stays at home but is busy so you should feel just as comfortable being a right hand as you are acting full charge. They do have a housekeeper so while you are not expecting to do any deep cleaning, you will be responsible for all childcare related needs. It would be great if you are a good cook and can help throw together occasional dinners.

This family values education and physical activity. They want their children to be engaged so reading, walks in the park, puzzles and arts & crafts are all important. Please be a strong swimmer as they have a pool and the boys love to swim!

This is a $25-30/hour position on the books, DOE. Your schedule will be 40 hours/ weeks in general though you will be asked on occasional to help with date nights and vacation travel. Typically, the schedule is Monday-Friday, 12-8pm. They do have a nanny car for your use while working.

The family is very respectful and is hoping to hire a nanny that they can include as a family member. In exchange they ask for flexibility in your schedule and a smile when you are at work!
