Position: Estate Manager & Event Planner, Chateau in France
Seeking a detailed, positive, flexible, customer service oriented estate manager and event planner to help create authentic “client experiences” in “authentic” locations in Europe (France), Ireland, Argentina, Nicaragua and the United States.
This position for Florida-based company “Bespoke” requires travel and living on- site. Initial location will be at a Chateau in France
Role is a broad mix of the following responsibilities:
• Overall estate management including budgetary responsibility
• Hospitality experience in guest services and management
• Special event design, production and management
• Bringing to life for our customers the property “brand/experience”
• Customer and partner relationship management-ability to manage
customers, vendors and other potential prospects and create additional
revenue opportunities through relationships and customer management
• Discretion and appropriateness at all times
Responsible for customer experience. Building customer relationships, providing
customer service, enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Reply promptly (in less than 24 hrs) via email and telephone to potential customers (fluent command of written and spoken English and French required) via direct contact and or the various property marketing websites
• Greet potential customers on property
• Make sure customer experience during rental and event is excellent
• Follow up with customers before and after their stay
Responsible for coordinating event and special guest services
• Event planning with customers and owner (additional revenue stream)
• Source and partner with event partners in local area (private chefs,
caterers, marquees, lighting specialists, etc.)
• Seek and develop special experiences, packages and services for
• Act as a concierge and organizer for special services that guests need
ranging from meals to trips and or other (additional revenue stream) Responsible for overseeing and developing enhancements for customer
experience on estate
• Building projects on site
• Potager and orchard
• Landscape – what more can be done?
• Working Farm Activities – how can this be used to enhance customer
Responsible for management of estate overall:
• Budget and spending
• Working with vendors, staff and owners to successfully manage
activities at Chateau
• Partner with property caretaker and act as a liaison between guests
and facility/maintenance.
• Hiring and supervising personnel as needed (cleaning teams and other
vendor partners such as landscapers, etc)
Support marketing efforts during down time under supervision of marketing specialist.
