We are looking for a SUPER tech savvy career EA/PA with minimum 5 years experience, preferably including business/investment firm experience, to work for a private family investment office located in Century City. This is a brand new satellite office of a very well established private equity investment firm in Chicago. You will report to one of the Principles who is back and forth between Chicago and LA. The role is 25% EA and 75% PA. The Principal has never had an EA before, so this is an amazing position in that whomever is hired can shape the role, put systems in to place, and stay on for the long haul. In the beginning, there may be some travel to Chicago for up to a week at a time, but the travel should phase out after the first six months. This job is about sourcing deals, taking meetings, finding interesting things to invest in and doing whatever due diligence is required to vet those potential investments PLUS functioning as the right hand/PA to a lovely family with two young children. The boss is super tech savvy and loves technology — hopefully you do too! The office is business casual and work hours are typically M-F. Flexibility is required, but the Boss isn’t the type to call in the middle of the night.
