Family assistant needed for high profile family

Employee’s duties as a Family Assistant include, but are not limited to:
• Childcare: Safe transportation of children as needed kids laundry ordering school lunch
• Personal Assistance: Assisting family members with personal tasks such as scheduling appointments, running errands, gift purchases and wrapping
• Administration tasks: Assisting with administrative tasks such as managing calendars, and coordinating with service providers or vendors when House Manager is not available, updating of House Manual
• Pet care: feeding fish from time to time, potential dog help
• Household management: Work hand in hand with house manager to ensure the house is running smoothly. Assist with supervision of trades
• Travel arrangements: Work with assistants to ensure all pertinent information is provided to the family and noted in the calendar. Make sure transportation is confirmed and the family has all necessary documents and paperwork is in order.
• Event planning: Assist with planning and organizing family events, such as birthdays, holidays, special occasions. Candidate should be comfortable greeting guests and assisting with all event related activities.
• Personal shopping: Assisting with shopping for groceries, household supplies, clothing and other personal items.
• Miscellaneous tasks: Assisting with other tasks or responsibilities as requested by the family.
• Reminders of deadlines or important functions. Not just set in calendar, but direct text or call Principal.
• Proactive scheduling conflict awareness and notification. Look ahead in the calendar and notify of any foreseeable conflicts or scheduling concerns.
• Daily Updating the family calendar with all school calendars events exam schedules registration dates etc.
• Assisting with applications for schools, helping edit if needed.
• Communicating with the house manager, assistants to principals to make sure the calendar is always up to date and that important dates are noted.
• Research program options for the kids when they are on break from school.
• Research activities for family while traveling.
• Research cultural activities to attend with kids during the year in LA.
• Organizing principal closet
• Organizing principal income outcome mail
• On occasion, may assist with outside events such as concerts, birthday parties, etc.
• Work closely with other assistants and take on projects as needed
• Keep home office organized and stocked
• Manage various inventories
Must have 3 years of childcare in a private home, as well as other private checkable references!
Offering an annual salary of $85k – $90K plus benefits (health, dental, vision insurance)
Enrollment on 401K after trial period.
