AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY | MAR VISTA | $35–$40/HR BENEFITS

A wonderful family in Mar Vista is looking for a warm, confident, and engaging after-school nanny for their two children, ages 5 and 8, who attend Brentwood School.
Both parents are hands-on and involved. Mom is a CEO who works primarily from home, and Dad works in Century City. They’re looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside involved parents while confidently taking the lead with the kids.
The ideal nanny is fun, warm, organized, and proactive—someone the children will respect and adore. You should be able to set appropriate boundaries, keep afternoons running smoothly, and think a few steps ahead.
Responsibilities include school pick-ups, driving to activities, homework support, planning activities and play, preparing simple meals and snacks, and keeping the children’s rooms, toys, and clothing organized. The family has a housekeeper twice weekly, so no heavy cleaning is required.

For the right person, there is an opportunity for additional hours and growth into a Family Assistant House Manager role.
SCHEDULE plus COMPENSATION
Monday–Friday, 3:00–7:00 PM
Guaranteed 20 hours week, with additional hours available
Candidates must be able to stay later at least two weeknights per week as needed. Occasional weekend and holiday hours may also be offered with advance notice.
$35–$40 hour DOE, on payroll, plus:
Annual bonus
Mileage reimbursement OR up to $70 week in family-paid gas
8 employee-chosen PTO days, including sick days
At least 10 additional employer-chosen paid days off annually
Overtime and incentive-pay opportunities
Candidates should have at least two years of professional childcare experience, excellent references, and experience working with a professional or entrepreneurial family is preferred. Paid trial days will ideally be arranged to ensure a great mutual fit.
