This is a once in a lifetime Youth Director opportunity for an incredible family in Austin. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Youth Director to support a vibrant family with four wonderful children—ages 10, 7-year-old twins, and 5. This full-time position (Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) offers a competitive salary of $75,000–$90,000 per year, along with health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background and a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive in every aspect of their lives.
In this role, the Youth Director will take the lead in overseeing all aspects of the children’s educational and extracurricular development across two homes. Responsibilities include managing tutors, providing hands-on homework help, and ensuring all academic materials and supplies are organized and transported seamlessly between homes. The Youth Director will also coordinate each season’s sports and activities calendar, schedule private coaches, and manage all related equipment and logistics. In addition, they will maintain the children’s healthcare schedules and supplies, assist with planning and executing parties or special events, and step in as a stand-in nanny when needed.
We are looking for someone with a college degree, ideally in education or a related field, and a proven track record of at least three years of consistent tenure in similar roles. Experience teaching or tutoring upper elementary or middle school students is highly preferred. The right candidate will be proactive, positive, and detail-oriented, with exceptional communication skills and a genuine love for working with children.
