Kind Creative Couple in the South Bay Seeks Temporary Property Manager

A warm, creative couple in the South Bay is seeking a temporary Family Assistant Property Manager to step in while their longtime employee is out of town. The position begins in August and will run through mid-December, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.

The family anticipates needing approximately 25–30 hours per week, and some of the work can be done remotely.

Their longtime assistant is very handy, so they’d love to find someone who can comfortably fill those shoes by tackling simple household projects such as hanging pictures, repotting plants, touching up paint, and handling other basic home maintenance. They live in a 1050’s condo building, so this is not a heavy maintenance role—just someone who enjoys being resourceful and handy around the house.

The couple travels frequently and has a beloved dog who already has regular coverage, but they would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys animals and is happy to spend time with their dog and take her out on occasion.

Additional responsibilities include online research, coordinating laundry service, watering plants, communicating with the building regarding minor maintenance issues, liaising with vendors, booking extensive personal travel, returning Amazon packages, and helping keep the household running smoothly. The family recently purchased a home in the South, so there may also be opportunities to assist with light project management from time to time.

The ideal candidate lives in or near the South Bay and has three to five years of experience as a Houseman, Family Assistant, Property Manager, or Household Assistant. You should be organized, proactive, comfortable wearing many hats, handy with basic household projects, and happy to pitch in wherever needed. Excellent references and a clean background report are required.

Compensation is in the $40 hour range.
