Lead Houseman Opening

A busy family is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Lead Houseman to support multiple estates, with a primary focus on a multi-acre property near Malibu. The ideal candidate is flexible, energetic, and maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times.

The Lead Houseman will maintain and repair buildings, grounds, and equipment, performing general handyman tasks such as drywall, painting, door repairs, and basic plumbing or electrical work. They will handle routine maintenance on building systems, manage inventory, order supplies, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors, contractors, and property management. The role also includes assisting with family events and household logistics, running occasional errands, and rotating between properties as needed, all while upholding safety standards and reporting concerns promptly.

Candidates should have 7-10 years of experience in private service or luxury estate management, be skilled with tools, and possess basic construction knowledge, with electrical, plumbing, or landscaping experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a self-starter attitude are essential!!

Some travel is a possibility.
