Personal Assistant Job Description

Brief Description
Personal assistant to a Brentwood-based couple who have a busy calendar, travel regularly and have four different homes. Assistant will work out of an office in their Los Angeles home.

1. Devise and maintain home office filing system
2. Handle light bookkeeping/accounting and act as liaison with accountant
3. Manage calendar and appointments
4. Make travel arrangements
5. Organize maintenance of homes including all vendors including IT, cable, electrical, plumbing, A/C
6. Assist in planning, organizing and managing small dinners and events
7. Update computer software and handle minor computer issues
8. Run errands

1. Exceptional organization skills
2. Excellent grammar and written communication skills
3. IT literate, including direct experience with Mac computers and software, Word, Excel and Quicken
4. Self-motivated
5. Good interpersonal relationship skills
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
7. Discretion and confidentiality
8. High school degree required, college degree considered an advantage
9. Experience as a PA, a PA diploma or certificate considered an advantage
