Personal Assistant/Personal Attendant Needed for Retired, Sophisticated Client

This is an amazing opportunity to work for a very generous retired individual who needs a Personal Assistant/Personal Attendant M-F, 4p-10pm to help keep their life running smoothly. A typical shift may be taking client on a 30 minute neighborhood walk, followed by a simple meal, and then watching a newly released movie on Apple TV before helping with bedtime routine (making sure client has taken appropriate PM pills and doing simple cleanup before leaving.)

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

-Drive client to doctor appointments, visits to family members, friends and stores as needed

-Accompany client to dinners, family gatherings, charity events, etc.

-Minimal Medication Supervision

-Managing Calendar

-Bill paying

-Home organization

-Running errands
-Prepare and serve meals and/or snacks

-Light housekeeping as needed (there is a housekeeper so only simple clean up is necessary.)

Ideal candidate will be polished, well spoken and also be a true team player as this is a fully staffed home and we need someone who can get along well with others. We are looking for someone who can intellectually stimulate our client: talk about current events, enjoy being actives as well as watching movies and participating in community activities. Communication is key- you will be responsible for keeping the other Personal Assistant as well as the family in the loop about the client. You should be poised, well spoken and take pride in your appearance. You should also be patient and sympathetic personality.

Requirements:

-Candidate must have a college degree as education is extremely valued in this household

-Long term, recent references. Minimum of 15 years in workforce, preferably jn a support role (Executive Assistant, Secretary, Receptionist, and/or Office Manager.)

-Clean driving and criminal record

-Service oriented attitude

-Flexible to travel (occasionally- this is not a deal breaker)

Any experience working with the elderly or in the medical field would be a bonus. Fluency in Farsi would also be an additional benefit.

Salary DOE: $70,000 +
