Precious family hiring a NCS for their 8 month old twin girls in Woodside California

This warm, private, child-centered family welcomed their twins at 32 weeks in September 2023, and has been working with a wonderful household team consisting of co-nannies and newborn care specialists who have stayed on for the past six months! They seek to create a caring, tight-knit environment in their home that allows everyone to thrive. Someone strongly dedicated to nurturing the children’s growth and development will be a great fit. Contract date is May 3rd through September 30th, wish an ideal schedule of 7 days a week, rotating schedule of three days solo from 7pm to 7am, followed by six days working with another NCS from 7am to 7pm. Transition days from day to night are 18-hour shifts. The family is offering a daily rate of $1,500, which equates to a base contract compensation of $225k, Flexible to live in or out. While working, a bed in the baby’s nursery will be provided.

This is a fully-staffed home environment, including housekeepers, a chef, nannies, newborn care specialists, a household manager, pet sitters, a chief of staff, and a handyman, so working well in a team will be essential. Candidates must be pet-friendly, as the family has two sweet cats.

Ideal candidate:
● This position is ideal for an experienced candidate who enjoys working with older infants and supporting the toddler transition! Someone with a gentle, confident, and professional approach to infant and toddler care will be valued. The family will prioritize candidates with experience working on a collaborative team. This is a dynamic role where communication with other newborn care specialists and the family is extremely important. Someone who is familiar with and comfortable using technology such as baby logging apps will be valued. Additionally, candidates should be flexible to travel with the family and have experience traveling.
● Responsibilities include creating a nurturing and safe environment for the twins to thrive and other baby-related tasks, including introducing solids, prepping and sanitizing bottles, baby’s laundry, tidying the nursery, taking walks with the babies, enjoying library story time, traveling with the family, and generally bringing a supportive, team-minded, all-hands-on-deck attitude.
● While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is a certified Newborn Care Specialist, is versed in working with twins, and or has experience working in fully staffed homes.
Qualifications:
● Experience working on an NCS team is highly desirable
● Knowledge of every aspect of infant care, including professional and working knowledge of
feeding, bathing, and dressing infants; preparing, cleaning, and sanitizing bottles; introducing
solids; and maintaining routines
● Valid passport
● Family travel experience and flexibility to travel
● Ability to travel with the family as needed during the contract
● Up to date on all vaccinations for the duration of employment (e.g., COVID, Tdap, MMR, TB,
Flu)
