September 1st Rota Nanny Opening

Loving Santa Barbara family looking for joyful, seasoned, and experienced nanny for two playful, active, and very sweet children ages 2 and up. Looking for a loving, smart and fun, team player to grow with the children and family for years to come. This position would be rotational with their beloved senior nanny that has been with the family for 3 years, working 7 days on, and 7 days off. Kindness, manners, positive reinforcement, and cleanliness hygiene are essential, as is a mindfulness (and proactivity) that supports the children’s educational and emotional development. The children are both in school and are routine based, with playdates, a love of adventure and nature, and a consistent sleep schedule. Seeking a special nanny with high energy to keep up with the children, but also a relaxed, calm, and gentle demeanour. The parents are very hands on, but also have a busy work schedule, so we are looking for a caring and flexible nanny who can pivot from childcare to maximizing their time on-site organizing the children’s spaces, and supporting the larger household team, when the parents are having time with their kids, which they love! Must be able to swim, comfortably and confidently care for two children at once, have a love of dogs, and be looking to fill this position for several years. Longevity is a must. Bilingual applicants a plus! Salary 125k plus health insurance.
