Young Family Seeks Housekeeper and Cook

UK Family relocating to LA (either Palisades or Brentwood) in mid-September seeks a full-time Housekeeper Cook. The role consists of approximately 70% cooking and 30% housekeeping. The normal schedule is M-F from 9:30am to 6:30pm. Breakfast is prepared the day before, and lunch and dinner are prepared day-of. Employee will also set the table, clean up after meals, keep the kitchen tidy, food-shop and etc … Competent cooking is required; however, a culinary school trained Chef is not. The family has a Thermomix they will train their employee to use, so what’s important here is a love of cooking, teachability and common sense. The Housekeeping includes day-to-day tidying (vacuuming, putting kids’ toys away), making beds, laundry and ironing. The family has someone who comes in couple days each week to handle the deep cleaning. Pay is up to $45 hour DOE plus a stipend for health insurance and generous paid time off.
