One day you may need to find out how to file something in court. Another day you may need to research how to send art overseas. You must have great computer skills, be able to manage autopay and pay bills, and help organize her life!
Our client wants to meet you if you like problem solving, can wear many hats and can get things done! If you know your way around PHOTOSHOP that would be a bonus! A calming presence will go a long way here. There may be some remote hours that you may do on your own but initially our client would like you to be at her home office with her on Fridays.

The right person for this job loves taking care of families, is extremely organized, well educated, and loves to think ahead and make systems. You are Mom and Dad’s Personal Assistant, but will also manage things for the children and work as a team with the rest of the staff.

Please be familiar with smart home technology, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, booking high end travel, (plus if you love booking ski trips!,) and understand how to manage many priorities at once while keeping calm. This family will ask for you to have your Covid vaccines.

This family works hard and has a love for travel and spending time with dear family and friends. You are going to be the person to take care of what they just don’t have time for, so they can prioritize spending time with loved ones. From calendar, to travel, to organizing, shopping, errands, returns, project management, construction projects and more. You’ll spend your day managing your to do list, and wrap each day with a touch base with the parents once they’re home.

The schedule will usually be Monday-Friday, starting around 9am, and finishing around 5:30/6pm. We hope to see longevity and loyalty in your last roles, that is very important to our client!

The family is offering $90,000 – $120,000 salary PLUS health insurance, 401k and paid time off!

Our clients are some of the brightest and interesting people! Mom has run/been the CEO and Founder of very successful companies while raising three children with her busy Executive Husband.

The two oldest are in boarding school and the youngest is home in 8th grade. There is no need for a nanny anymore, but we do need someone who loves taking care of families, and helping out with child related duties like scheduling, travel arrangements, some drop offs, coordinating with the school, and occasionally staying over with the 8th grader if Mom & Dad need to travel for work.

The ideal candidate has been an Executive or Personal Assistant and can handle prioritizing different responsibilities throughout the day. The family has several homes, and you will be in charge of repairs, packing and advancing for trips, and working with the housekeeper in the main LA home. You also love kids, their 8th grader is a busy preteen, and we’d love someone that feels like a big sister to her – someone she can look up to, and be happy to hang out with when you’re shuttling her around the Palisades for rides as needed.

You love organization and coming up with ways to keep your bosses lives running as smooth as possible.

We’d love to see that you live in West LA, and can be somewhat flexible with your schedule. Mom is working from home right now, so while you are needed at the house most days, it won’t always be the whole day or some days you might work from home. The majority of work will happen 9am-6pm, but we would love someone who is comfortable coming early to meet a plumber, staying late if needed, occasionally sleeping over with their daughter, and being able to travel to the other properties. Some weeks will be about 45 hours, others will be more. This is a salaried position, and we’d like someone who is comfortable being available as needed. If you have a 24/7 mindset that would be great, you won’t need to work that much, we just are looking for someone who takes initiative, manages projects and is a great problem solver.

We need someone fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe, great with research, booking luxury travel and picking out gorgeous gifts. Ideally you have at least 5+ years of recent experience supporting a busy boss with fantastic references and a clear background check!

Salary is DOE, 100-130k plus paid vacation, sick days and holidays.

Hybrid Personal Family and Household Manager Position in Santa Monica

Seeking full-time House Manager/Personal Assistant for single parent with two girls (17 and 10 years old), and one boy (15 years old). The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day upkeep of the household and manage residential staff to ensure a streamlined system for the family.

Hours will be roughly Monday through Friday, 9:00AM – 7:00PM but will also require the candidate to be very flexible with start and end times based on immediate needs. This “unicorn” position requires a “no task is too big or too small” attitude.

There is a friendly dog in the house. West side candidates preferred. The perfect candidate is educated, intelligent, adaptable, and refined. Family is looking to start someone ASAP. Salary DOE. Must be tech savvy and be able to do calendars, correspondence, book travel, and work closely with kids and household staff.

HOUSE MANAGER – 
• Supervise and support all household staff including childcare giver(s), tutors, construction, landscaping, domestic duties, IT, various other vendors
• Manage childcare/babysitter personnel and scheduling (back-up sitters, etc.) outside of established nanny who has been with the family for over 20 years
• Manage house security including door passcodes, guest entry, smoke and security alarms
• Trouble shoot TV/ WIFI issues
• Schedule and supervise any home maintenance and repair work projects including preparing timeline and budgets; assessing and overseeing expenses and payments; and liaising with homeowner throughout the process
• Maintain various lists – vendor, general contact etc. and updating them as needed to make sure proper logins and passwords are recorded for the home and family
• Oversee payments on household bills and eventually liaise with business manager
• File and track household bills
• Run general household errands
• Receive and ship packages and manage returns
• Order and check-on general household supplies to ensure they’re always readily available, liaise with Alma on list
• Plan, organize and coordinate house events including parties, holiday events and overnight guests
• Purchase and track items for household as directed 
• Raise household issues with employer; keep and maintain a running list and follow-up until tasks are complete or dismissed

FAMILY – 
• Manage an ever-changing family calendar and complex household schedule while remaining flexible 
• Assist the children with accessing remote learning/Zoom meetings
• Help with light meal prep on days when kids are at the house
• Help schedule doctors appointments and assist with scheduling at home health care 
• Light assistance to employer with transporting children to and from commitments that include school-related events, various appointments, extra-curricular activities, and social gatherings as needed
• Book flights and travel arrangements for family trips; organize detailed itineraries
• Run errands as necessary for employer and kids (shopping, returns, shipping, etc.) 
• Assist kids as needed with parental guidance and permission
• Order children new clothes as they grow 
• Coordinate weekly dinners with kids/family

ASSISTANT – 
• Coordinate employer’s personal calendar
• Schedule meetings and assist in coordinating travel 
• Maintain private files 
• Demonstrate a high level of partnership, collaboration, proactiveness while understanding tastes and preferences 
• Lead with suggestions and solutions while paying attention to details
• Organize and prioritize work independently; delegate tasks and projects as appropriate 
• Exercise considerable discretion and maintain appropriate confidentiality

This is the DREAM JOB for a Dog lover! Our client travels extensively for work, they have Nannies for their children, and now they are about to welcome two Puppies into their family, so they need a Dog Assistant!

You will be in charge of meals, ordering their food, taking them to the park to run around, booking and taking them to the Vet, giving them any meds, and implementing any training.

These Puppies are currently being trained, so they will come to the family already potty trained and knowing some commands!

Your schedule will be Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, plus someone that can stay over at the gorgeous home in Beverly Hills when the family travels. You will be paid OT for those extra hours!

The family is offering $30-35 an hour, on payroll, plus health insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, holidays and sick days.

The right person for this role is warm, organized, patient, active, loves dogs (maybe even more than humans!,) and is a great team player as you’ll be interacting with a sizable estate staff. You will be also happy to help around the house – some of the children might need a ride, or drop off an exchange, be at the house to sign for FedEx, just be an extra pair of helpful, happy hands.
