Wonderful Family looking for a Family Assistant based in Santa Monica

High Profile and VERY busy west side family needs a reliable, organized, detail oriented and fun family assistant based in Santa Monica. They will guarantee at least 30 hours a week but it is often up to 40 hours per week. You will be doing anything from planning a intimate dinner party, gift buying, planning travel, lots of scheduling and liaising between the family business manager. You should be a self-starter, MAC proficient, and have a fun and easygoing attitude. Must be VERY computer savvy! Mom has a very busy work schedule. Kids go to a private school with a very confusing web site. Calendar is uploaded online daily. All 3 kids have different schedules daily. You will be responsible for all of their schedules and keeping the nannies on schedule since everyone besides YOU will be computer illiterate. There is a heavy childcare aspect to this position. Pickups Monday through Friday for all three kids (15, 13 and 10 years old) and lots of family errands. In addition you will be responsible for all the party planning with the Mrs. and doing extensive gift buying etc. She has started shopping for Christmas already. This is really the perfect part time position!!! $30 per hour on the books plus health insurance after 6 months… Schedule is Monday – Friday, a very occasional Saturday. The client does split days often with some remote errands, calendaring, travel, online ordering in the morning and then afternoons with the principal and mom at the home in the afternoon. Approximately 21 hours in the House which is located in Central Santa Monica! Please note we really need a candidate who is flexible and who lives WESTSIDE as days are often split shifts. The most important time you are needed is afternoons to evenings. The mornings you can schedule vendors or errands as needed and make your own schedule. Schedule averages 30-35 hours/week. For the right person she will guarantee 40 hours. We would like someone who has no ambitions to work in entertainment . Family wants someone long term and able to commit to 5 years.
