Chef needed for lovely entreatment family in the Palisades

Our client just wrote their wish list: we thought we would share it!!! Simple delicious Italian food is the primary cuisine we eat.
My girls also like asian flavors on occasion and chicken is big in our house so we like lots of different seasoning styles for that like jerk or soy – that kind of thing. But for day to day- both northern and southern italian style cooking and most importantly using fresh and organic ingredients.
Ideally during the school year we would like lunches packed for the girls and we would like to have someone come early and do simple healthy breakfast and pack the lunches and then come back later to make after school snack and then dinner. Some days it could be lunch instead of dinner.
Would also like someone who is flexible and would be willing to work some weekend dinners when needed. Someone in the mind set of making sure the family is fed and supplied as needed.

Cute family of three living in beautiful Lafayette looking for a drop-off chef to help make their weeks feel a little less hectic and a lot more delicious. They have a 5-year-old daughter and tend to fall into the same meal routines every week, so they’d love someone who enjoys creating fresh, approachable family-style meals with lots of variety. They’re pretty veggie-focused and love things like grilled chicken or pork tenderloin, pasta nights (their daughter loves tortellini and pesto), grain bowls, soups, Thai-inspired dishes, rice and beans, and simple comfort foods like grilled cheese and tomato soup. Minimal seafood please (her husband loves it, she doesn’t, so they usually avoid it). They’re hoping to find someone who can help with menu planning, grocery shopping, and prepared meal drop-offs about 3 times a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two adults and one child. Their daughter brings lunch to school each day, dad brings lunch into the office, and mom works from home and typically eats meals at home, so having fresh, easy, ready-to-go options throughout the week would be incredibly helpful. Breakfasts and lunches should be simple to grab, pack, or reheat during busy work and school days, and Sunday dinner is especially important to them.

Mostly, they’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely enjoys feeding families and making life easier through good food. Compensation is DOE. Looking forward to connecting! Must be a local Bay Area candidate.

We are helping a family of 3 in the West Village find a chef that can handle very strict dietary restrictions for one of the family members. One of the principals will eat similar to this, but has some flexibility in their diet. You should also make delicious kid food – grilled cheese, rice, chicken, broccoli, tacos, pizza.

-You should have experience cooking for clients with heart disease and that are pre-diabetic
-You know how to portion properly and weigh the meals
-Low calorie but highly nutritious
-Only eat fish, no meat
-Only proteins that are allowed are egg whites, lentils, yogurt
-Very plant forward diet
-Cook without nuts, avocados, seeds
-No cholesterol or saturated fats

This is a plated lunch and dinner role, with breakfast left in the fridge and snacks. On Friday’s, they would like for you to leave food in the fridge for them to eat throughout the weekend.

This job can either pay as a 1099 or on the books.

The family includes three children all under the age of seven, so the ideal candidate will bring as much warmth and creativity to a Tuesday lunch box as to a Friday night dinner. This is a family-style kitchen — nourishing, wholesome, and enjoyed together at the table. No plated service, no fuss. Just really good food made with care.

The household is kosher. Meat is delivered; the chef is responsible for sourcing fresh produce, dairy, and pantry items. A working knowledge of kosher kitchen practices is required.
