They love dining out, live a healthy lifestyle, and want to learn the foundations of cooking along with a handful of impressive staple recipes they can recreate at home. The ideal chef knows how to make healthy food seriously delicious, but also appreciates a decadent treat or two, and can make cooking feel approachable, sexy, and fun. This will be an eight-hour day that includes preparing a healthy lunch for Mom, delicious snacks for the children, and dinner for the entire family. They love fresh, healthy Mediterranean-inspired food and are looking for a chef who can create beautiful, flavorful meals that everyone will enjoy.

The family also loves to entertain, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing meals for dinner parties and special occasions. They are looking for someone creative, organized, flexible, and happy to collaborate on menus.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing lunch for Mom
Making healthy, child-friendly snacks
Preparing dinner for the family
Menu planning and grocery shopping
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Cooking for guests and dinner parties as needed
Accommodating dietary preferences and requests

The ideal candidate will have excellent private-home references, a strong knowledge of healthy Mediterranean cuisine, and a warm, professional demeanor. This is a wonderful opportunity for a chef who enjoys becoming part of a lovely household and making family meals feel special.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday—eight hours per day
Salary is completely DOE but hourly with overtime

Long time lovely woman who is obsessed with good recipes for very very simple dinners. You can not be offended if she wants you to cook out of a particular cookbook or one of her recipes. This is beyond simple cooking – you might be cooking for two if anyone (her kids) is over visiting! Please let us know if you have interest, and if you live somewhat close to the west side. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced private chef to work aboard a luxury yacht serving one principal. This has the potential to become a regular, highly compensated role for the right candidate.
The weekend begins on Thursday at Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, where you’ll be responsible for provisioning, meal planning, and sourcing the highest-quality ingredients. Strong knowledge of the Malibu, Oxnard, and Santa Barbara areas is essential, along with established local resources.
The principal follows a clean, healthy, keto-based diet, and you should be comfortable creating exceptional meals that reflect those preferences.
Schedule:
Thursday: Provisioning, sourcing, and meal prep
Friday: Lunch and dinner
Saturday to Sunday: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
While there is only one principal aboard, he often entertains up to 8 guests over the weekend. In addition, you’ll prepare meals for 8 crew members on Saturday and Sunday.
Flexibility is a must, as departure times are often confirmed at the last minute. You should be adaptable, organized, and ready to go when it’s time to set sail.
Previous experience working for high-profile principals is strongly preferred. You should also be confident working in a yacht galley, which requires a different skill set than a traditional residential kitchen.

A wonderful private estate is looking for a friendly, organized, and hardworking housekeeper or houseman that wants to be an assistant to support its talented culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist the chefs with daily culinary needs and food preparation
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked
Handle grocery shopping, supply runs, and culinary-related errands
Help with setup and breakdown for events
Organize and maintain the estate’s food, beverage, and culinary inventory
Assist with billing, receipts, and inventory tracking
Support the Executive Chef with logistics for large-scale events
Qualifications
Fluent in English
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Able to lift up to 20 pounds
Experience in a private household, hospitality, restaurant, or culinary-support role is preferred
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Flexible and available to assist with special events as needed
Professional, discreet, and comfortable working in a private high-net-worth household
A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine willingness to be part of a team
