Brentwood Family Seeking Drop-Off Chef with One Special Dinner Event

Filled

Posted : 10/05/25

A super lovely family in Brentwood is hoping to engage a talented chef to provide drop-off meals twice a month between now and mid-December. The days are flexible, and meals will typically be prepared for about six people.

In addition, the family is hosting a special sit-down dinner for 12–14 family members on October 18th. For this evening, they would also love it if you have someone who can assist with serving and clean-up.

The family will be away from mid-December through April but may wish to resume chef services upon their return.

This is a wonderful role for a chef who is between full-time positions or looking to pick up extra work with a warm and gracious household.

Because this is a short-term role that begins right away, we are only considering chefs who have already been interviewed and are currently in our system.

If you’re interested, please email your general availability and hourly rate to katie@thehelpcompany.com.

Thanks so much!

Drop Off Chef in Cheviott Hills for nicest busy family including Grandma

Filled

Posted : 10/20/25

Loveliest family in Cheviot Hills including Mom, Dad, teenage son and Grandma, are looking for a great healthy drop off chef! They had a chef for years who they loved who just moved out LA, and are hoping to find someone just as great to replace them.

This family loves flavor, think herbs, spices and citrus and creative yet healthy flavors. Grandma needs low sodium in her diet but won’t eat unless the flavor is strong, so getting inventive is important.

They’d love to have drops on Mondays, and Wednesdays – always dinner and either breakfast or lunch items. The family eats mostly chicken, fish, lentils and veggies. The husband will eat an occasional hanger steak every other week. No pork. The family loves fresh produce from the farmers market and high quality chicken fish from the fish monger, etc. They also love locally sourced fruit with each drop. As well as keeping everything organic and cooking with healthy oils: olive and avocado.

The parents are busy working, and have an active busy teenager so getting the right food so they aren’t worrying about dinner is an important investment for them. They would love to partner with their new chef on healthy food, and sending occasional recipes they like. Here and there they will also ask for traditional chocolate chip cookies, brownies or muffins – so someone who enjoys baking is a plus!

Please respond if you’re interested, ideally live close by and what your rate is. The family will pay your rate plus reimburse for groceries.

Ready to hire! Resumes and interest can be emailed to naomi@thehelpcompany.com
