Key Details:

• Schedule: days per week every other week end but a 5 day work week. , 10-hour shifts (11 AM – 8:30 or 9 PM). Flexibility is required for holidays, events, and occasional weekends.
• Meals: Primarily lunch and dinner, with some mise en place for breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
• Travel: Frequent travel with the family to Aspen and or the wine country

Part Time Chef for Dynamic Beverly Hills Family

Our client is looking for a part time chef who can help 3-4 days a week. They are open to what days you have available, it’s more about the match!

Typically, it’s lunch and dinner with clean, healthy food plus Shabbat dinner on Friday evenings. Mostly just the family but they do like to have dinner parties about 1-2x a month. Please be able to pivot when plans change, as they do! We are looking for a Chef that keeps a clean, organized kitchen and has a nice, easy going, flexible attitude. Ideally you would be able to travel with the family to Hawaii for occasional family holidays.

Lunch is served at 1pm, and dinner is usually 6:30pm. Sometimes it shifts 30 minutes or so. The family likes for the Chef to arrive at 11am and depart around 6:45pm once dinner has been served. The rate per day is $600.

Please have a clean background chef, excellent and reference references and the ability to pivot with a busy family. Must also love dogs as the family has a few furry friends plus children and staff, it’s a busy home.

• Household Management:
◦ Oversee and manage housekeepers at both properties to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a seamless experience for the principal.
◦ Manage seasonal maintenance tasks such as rotating mattresses, power washing, and preparing the Malibu home for use.
◦ Conduct pre-arrival visits to ensure the Malibu home is in excellent condition and ready for occupancy.

• Strong culinary skills.

We’re looking for a creative and reliable part-time chef to help bring delicious, healthy, and flavorful meals to our wonderful client’s busy household. As a family that values eating clean, protein-heavy meals with a focus on fresh vegetables, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, flavorful dishes with an emphasis on Asian-inspired flavors. This includes creating a weekly Sunday family dinner, along with meal prep for the coming week. The ideal candidate will have experience cooking fresh, healthy meals, and a passion for ethnic cuisines like Thai, Indian, Japanese, Mexican, and Ethiopian. Hancock Park Healthy Part Time Chef Needed: Wonderfully talented and philanthropic high profile couple with is looking for a new part time Chef. The home is in Hancock Park and the job works 2-3 times per week, typically 4-5 hours each time. This is a family who loves healthy soups, salads, simple entrees (i.e. protein, vegetables, starch). Chef cooks dinner in the home and typically leaves food to be re-heated. The family likes to have extra food on hand for lunch the following day. Please reach out if interested.

They eat pretty healthy, they never use mayonnaise ever and they rarely use butter, they are pretty good about not over doing salt, lots of herbs are used for flavoring. Lots of veggies, kind of mediterranean diet type items but add in meat for the big boss. Steak, fish, pork.
