Businessman and family are in Malibu for the summer and they are looking for a polished, professional and low-key chef. Your schedule will fluctuate week to week and they are hoping you can be flexible with them!

They need an awesome chef who understands how to cook CLEAN, HEALTHY, DELICIOUS California fare. Go the the farmer’s market, get the fresh catch of the day type of cooking. The schedule is flexible, some days they are out of town (and will pay you) but when they are here, they will want B&L some days, other days BLD, etc. 

Must be able to start ASAP and be on call to work all of July, August and up through Labor Day.

The most lovely family is in need of a great family chef! They are very easy going and so appreciative of their staff! They are also self proclaimed foodies 🙂

It is a busy household, two sets of twins, teenagers and elementary aged! So you must be able to accommodate different diets and times for meals. Snacks after school are important as well, they are active kids and play many sports!

You be in charge of the kitchen but the family does have a housekeeper to help with the deep cleaning.

No major food allergies and the Mom will guide you along with their food preferences though she would love for you to take charge. They love to mix up buying produce and stables from various stores to find the best items and prices.

Day rate is $200-300, DOE

Brentwood Couple is looking for a Chef to cook a couple nights a week. This is an on again off again job meaning they will use your services when in town, but sometimes travel for up to a month at a time. They are based in LA and eat mostly gluten-free food. We are looking for a hip, cool chef who is comfortable working with a house filled with millennial u tubers. They want comfort food all day long! two dogs in the house and camera crews at all times! Good exposure for the right chef! The principal wants breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We will likely be looking for two chefs.

Lovely family of five in the Palisades is looking for a Chef who will work three weekdays and on Sunday (the two non negotiable days are Friday & Sunday). The family owns one home in Aspen and another in Hawaii and they take additional trips throughout the year to various other locations, so this is a job for a Chef who has the flexibility to TRAVEL regularly and won’t mind being away from his/her own family over the holidays. One of the children has Celiac disease so the family eats a primarily GLUTEN FREE & VEGAN diet. There’s a dog in the house, so no pet allergies please! The typical schedule is to arrive mid-morning to prep for lunch and dinner — serve dinner and clean up afterward — the hours are from 11a/noon to 7/8pm. They’d like for the Chef to handle all shopping and leave items for breakfast as well. Because there are children in the house — it would be great if you could make food for kids’ lunches, after school snacks etc … — Basically, you will run the kitchen for a busy family of five who loves to travel. This lovely couple with a gorgeous kitchen and home wants a very healthy chef that will cook a very healthy lunch and dinner for them. The doctor has asked them to lose weight. They are probably looking for someone that understand substitution for salt and keep the food very healthy and organic! You will be responsible for shopping and inventory. This will be 5 days a week on the books… They travel a lot, but will keep you on a smaller salary when they are traveling!
