They eat healthy and would love someone that can cook Italian and Mediterranean – they eat a lot of fish and grilled vegies. Big on fish and they love food – olive oil instead of butter. Lunch is a bigger meal then dinner, so prep a good dinner and leave. Dinner is usually soup and salad – maybe even eggs. They are loyal and lovely and are looking for the same!! Our wonderful client is looking for an amazing Full Time Flexible Chef!

We would love to see fine dining experience, and at least one private chef position on your resume to be considered. Please be comfortable with a FLEXIBLE schedule – things change and the client travels often. They are traveling about half the year – when they are out of town – you work about 5-6 hours, Monday-Friday providing the staff lunch. When the client is in town, you will work 5 days a week, and always have 2 days off. They have an extended family and many friends, so someone who enjoys a great Shabbat Dinner and a gracious host is our dream!

You will provide lunch and dinner for the days you work and stock the fridge and pantry. Usually around 11am/12pm – after dinner. There is another Chef who covers breakfast daily and lunch on your days off who has been with the family for years.

Menu planning, grocery shopping at local organic markets and kitchen organization are all part of this job. The typical day starts at noon where you will prepare food for the staff, and then start dinner service.
