We are looking for 10:30 to 6 person that understands Michelin star food , as this person owns restaurants and is a true “foodie” Across the board you should understand Asian, Greek, American, etc. Cook what you want, but just be extremely confident in your skills. There will be no looking over your shoulder. You will be working with their chef for the first month, so you will get a great knowledge of what is wanted. Formality is not necessary, but we do not want a prima donna! This is a no drama home, easy going demeanor is important. Hopefully you enjoy travel, as they have homes in different cities. The family does business lunches, which is the main meal of the day and then cook dinner for the kids and leave.. At east once a week they will want to entertain, maximum 6 to 8 people, but you will have as much help as you want. What ever you need or want is at your finger tips! There is a large cleaning staff, so you are truly the chef, and you can concentrate on your cooking! This is a once in a ife time opportunity… Salary is completely open. BRENTWOOD PASSOVER CHEF NEEDED — Lovely family in Brentwood is looking for Cook/Housekeeper who can work every day from April 8th through April 15th for Passover. This is a Kosher home so familiarity working in a kosher kitchen will be helpful. There will be approximately 8 adults and 6 children. The food does not need to be fancy. We are looking for a candidate who can come in, take control of the kitchen and tidy up after every meal. This position is either for a Chef who is willing to clean OR for a Housekeeper who is a very confident cook. It’s likely salads for lunch (cold foods) and then dinner. Breakfast is not necessary though it would be lovely if you helped prep items the family can serve themselves. The family has a Housekeeper and a Nanny, but the Cook should definitely be willing and able to clean up after him/herself. The family is planning to go on outings so some of the lunches will be packed. The Lady of the House has recipes she will share. There will be very specific menus. This is not a creative job! It’s coming in after breakfast, clearing up the breakfast dishes, prepping for lunch — clearing up afterwards and making dinner. Captain of the kosher kitchen! The hours will likely be late morning through to evening. Culinary expertise is not critical to success in this role.
