Lovely elderly Lady in the Santa Rosa Valley is looking for a full-time Chef who is focused on and has great knowledge of nutrition. The hours of need will most likely be Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm (BLD) and the Chef will likely work alongside a Nutritionist. Client would like food to be prepped and left for the weekends as well. Our client has a large family (high profile) and there are occasional family get togethers and parties. We are looking for a flexible and easy going chef to work for a WONDERFUL family with a staffed home. Dad travels most of the year for work ( staff and family goes for the travel as well) and the rest of the year resides in Atlanta. We need someone who is open to working five days a week, and can travel with the family as they change cities. It would be wonderful if you are open to relocating to Atlanta as well. There are a few food sensitivities so even though they love to eat almost everything, having the sensitivity to work around those culinary hurdles will be important. They love fresh everything and will be so excited to see what you bring from their local farmer’s market. The parents like to have dinner on the table at 6pm. They do not need formal service as they accommodating their three children ranging in ages from 4 – 13 years old.

This family is not hung up on having someone with 20 years of experience, it is more about finding the right personality match and being on the same page with them on their food habits. Please have graduated from culinary school and also have spent time in a Gjelina type kitchen!

The family is offering: $250-300/day

We have a very high profile couple who would like a female chef every Saturday to cook for them and their friends. Some Saturdays may be just the couple with extended family, there could be some parties as well. Days will be long at least 10 hours per day. Normally the principals eat health conscious, organic, no salt and no spice so we really need someone who understands healthy cooking. Please be dog friendly . This chef is expected to know formal service as you will be serving and cleaning up anything that you are involved in. Only candidates with minimum 3-5 years of solid high profile private home experience with one family will be considered.

We have a very special client whose husband is dealing with multiple health issues (dementia, diabetes) and is in need of some Chef help. We don’t have a schedule yet. Our guess is that the work will primarily be M-F, lunches and dinner. It will likely be a mix of drop off and cooking in the home, i.e. when guests stop by. It could be that Chef drops off a few days a week (leaving food for all five days). Truly, it’s all a bit up in the air. Our client is figuring things out as they go. This is a tricky position in that our client can be very difficult due to the dementia so the ideal candidate is very patient and empathetic and has experience cooking for a client with health issues. This is such a lovely and generous couple, and they need someone to cook simple, CA fresh/Farm to Table dinners and leave lunch for the next day.

The most important thing to this family is to find someone with a CAN DO attitude. They may ask you to run local errands as well (stocking the household etc.)

Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years full time experience working in restaurants, and a minimum of 1 year working in private homes.

Schedule is M-F, with flexibility to work on weekends if needed.

We are looking for one of our vetted candidates to help our for 2-3 months! Someone who can start ASAP, ideally September 8th. Please have the ability to cook for a large group, family of 5 plus a few staff members. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7am-7pm. Drop Off Chef: Wonderful family in the Palisades is interested in hiring a drop-off Chef who can cook dinners five nights a week. The focus is on healthy nutritious meals for Mom/Dad because the Nanny primarily cooks for the three children; however, it would be terrific to find a Chef willing to prepare some “extras” (i.e. homemade granola, healthy banana bread, kitchen staples etc.) to round out the fridge.
