We are looking for an energetic and flexible chef to cook dinners (and prepare healthy snacks and occasional lunches for two kids. Ideal candidate will have worked in some of Manhattan’s top restaurants, and also has at least one long term reference working for a family in a private residence full time.

You will be required to serve dinner and clean up after. Dinner is typically between 6-7, and sometimes the family will eat in shifts depending on the kids after school activities.

Wonderful family of 8 is renting a wonderful home in Malibu on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped – They are open to suggestions! Surf and Turf Dinner is served buffet style. Maybe a salad or soup, a couple sides, main and dessert. Low sodium and organic and snacks .. you can come up with the menu and chat! They need you to stay and clean up as well.

We are working with a client in Studio City who is looking for a super health conscious Chef.  This client would like to have her Chef cook and serve lunch and/or dinner one day per week in her home, and also cook several other dishes to be left behind and eaten throughout the week.  She has one daughter who is sometimes around, as well as colleagues, so you are typically cooking for anywhere from one to three guests.  This client is on a low FODMAP and gluten free diet, so applicants should either be familiar with FODMAPs or be willing to read up on them.  There are plenty of apps and recipes available online.  She has some permanent nerve damage on her left side, so grocery shopping is difficult for her, and she would like for her new Chef to handle all her food shopping.   Please reach out with your day rate if this job is of interest to you.  The one-day working trial will be held in Newport Coast next week, and the job will begin after 2/22 in Studio City.  Thank you!

We are looking for a warm and creative chef who is excited to make family dinners, Monday-Thursday for the nicest family.

There are a few food sensitivities so even though they love to eat almost everything, having the sensitivity to work around those culinary hurdles will be important. They love fresh everything and will be so excited to see what you bring from their local farmer’s market. The parents like to have dinner on the table at 6pm. They do not need formal service as they accommodating their three children ranging in ages from 2 – 11 years old.

This family is not hung up on having someone with 20 years of experience, it is more about finding the right personality match and being on the same page with them on their food habits. Please have graduated from culinary school and also have spent time in a Gjelina type kitchen!

The family is offering: $200-250/day

Wonderful International family with three children will be at their home in the Palisades from September 11th through November 28th and will be in need of a Chef who will cook lunch and dinner, M-F. There may be the occasional weekend day requested as well. The children are young (4, 3 & a newborn who doesn’t eat solids). Mom would love to lose some baby weight and has had great success with the Paleo diet in the past. You will also cook for Dad, the toddlers, the Nanny and the Baby Nurse. They’re fine if you shop, prepare/serve lunch and prepare dinner to be left for the Housekeeper to heat up and serve. It would be wonderful if you’re also able to prepare some items to be left for breakfast as well as snacks for the children and perhaps some food to be left for the family to eat over the weekend when you’re off. We are looking for a an experienced and calm natured full time chef to work for a family in Park City. There are 3 kids, one hypo allergenic dog, and two adults. This is a salaried position, full time. You will mostly be making dinners, shopping and sourcing all of the food, stocking the pantry, doing the 3 kids lunches and making sure there is always delicious and healthy fresh food in the fridge. This is a casual family and we are looking for a chef who can easily blend in and stay for a long time. The salary will be generous. Candidate must have 3-5 years in a private home as a chef, have a car and drive. The family is NOT relocating this person so we are looking for a special person who is already based in Salt Lake Cit.
