Part Time Chef Needed in the city (Nob Hill.)

Schedule is flexible, 2-3 days a week, and availability to do an occasional weekend dinner party (once a month maximum.) Ideally chef can come M/W/F but again, for the perfect chef, we are flexible.

Chef must have degree from accredited culinary institute, and have a minimum of 5 years experience working in private homes. Any experience working in 5 star restaurants is also a bonus.

You will be responsible for cooking dinner for 1-2 people, plus stocking fridge with snacks, and possibly making “to go” lunches.

This is a single woman who has a busy career, and needs healthy but delicious meals to be prepared at her condo. There is also a possibility for occasional drop offs. We are looking for a presentable and CLEAN chef who can also cook in her home.

Must speak perfect English.

Wonderful, bustling family in Santa Monica with lots of kiddos is looking for a warm and wonderful Jane of all Trades to work M-F from noon-ish until after dinner at around 7/8 pm.  The primarily role is that of the family cook, but you should be willing to also help with the children, and do some house management, and tidying as well.  We need someone who will hit the farmers markets and grocery stores, and spend most of the day in the kitchen, making b’fast items, packing school lunches, helping prep after school snacks, and cooking family dinners.  The kitchen will be your domain, and you will be expected to stay after dinner to clean up so that everything is in perfect order for the next day.   Pay is $25-$30/hour.  The family has a dog and a cat, so this is not a job for someone with pet allergies.  Dad is Scandinavian, and Mom is German, so some knowledge of Scandinavian or German food is a plus.  This is a wonderful hybrid position that is perfect for a home cook who loves children and loves to be busy.  Please let us know if you are interested.  Thank you!
