They will be in Malibu from the end of July till September.

Dinner party for 12 adults this Thursday! Please have experience working in a private home and with events! This group likes to eat healthy but still have flavor. Dinner will be served between 6:30-7pm. They would like a three-course meal consisting of a salad to start, fish entree, veggie and starch sides and fresh berries with cream for dessert.

We have a lovely and healthy older couple in Century City who needs a drop off chef Monday – Friday. This couple loves to eat delicious and flavorful food. Steaks, salmon, salads and anything grilled. We are looking for someone who is just starting their career as a chef but has some experience cooking for a family. The couple would like two dinners and one lunch per day. Drops can be done 2- 3 times per week. This couple is older so it would be wonderful if you can package the food with full directions for heating up , etc.

The position will be evening cook and some cleaning.  Monday – Friday Hours: 1pm to 9pm.  The person will cook one meal a day, to be ready at 6:30pm – the evening meal is mainly for the family, but there will be some dinner parties and some larger parties occasionally.   A side note: If the kitchen is cleaned up before 9pm you can often leave but still be paid the full 8 hours.

The emphasis needs to be on a cook who prepares  simple, delicious meals. Nothing fancy,  all  Gluten free, some vegetarian, some vegan. All fresh. “Home made.”  (No purchased salad dressing, no using canned chicken broth, etc.)  Fresh soups, salads with fresh salad dressings, fresh vegetables, some protein like fish, Chicken Cutlets, Veggie Burgers.  The person will also need to purchase the food for the house.

There is some cleaning – Mainly keeping the kitchen clean, the wooden floors on the main floor of the house clean, light dusting = basic maintenance cleaning.  They now have someone to come in once a week to do the “deep cleaning” on the main floor.

 The family would like a calm person who enjoys cooking and can clean. Someone more on the quiet side (i.e.: not a strong personality.)  Kind and willing to help.  The person does not have to speak perfect English, but to be able to communicate adequately.   

We are looking for a versatile chef that will be responsible for making dinners – cooks and then leaves it ready to be heated up or ready to eat depending on what is made. The family keeps random hours, so having everything labeled and ready makes it easy for the wife to throw it all together when her husband gets home. They would also like soups, salads, marinades for the days that you are not there, along with lunches for the next day. (Just left overs are fine) You will also be responsible for doing the shopping and keeping the pantry cleaned out. The family eats fairly healthy meals, no mayo, they rarely use butter, but love herbs for all the flavor.
They eat pretty healthy, they never use mayonnaise ever and they rarely use butter, Lots of veggies, it is basically a Mediterranean diet but the husband enjoys Steak, fish, pork, lamb etc. They also have dessert sometimes, tarts, apple crisps, cookies and maybe even pie one in a while.

A wonderful generous family in Pacific Heights is looking for a full time chef . You will be cooking for a family of 3 plus their nanny (they have a 9 year old son.) The family is formal, and wants someone who can serve them (dinner consists of an app, main course and a light/healthy dessert.) The family does enjoy entertaining, so you should feel comfortable cooking plated meals for up to 10 guests. This is a wonderful family that believes in taking care of their staff! They would love someone who lives in San Francisco in case we need someone to access the house.

We also want to find a chef who LOVES children, and would love to teach their son how to make sush:-), or bake cookies with him!
They have a home in Napa for the week-ends. They also travel elsewhere so if you would like to travel to Thailand and lean how to cook GREAT Thai food, let us know!!

The rough schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 8:00pm but there will be times you will be asked to come early, stay late &/or come in on a weekend. This job will also require travel from time to time. This is a job for a VERY FLEXIBLE Chef who is willing to roll with last minute changes. There’s a large staff in the home and it’s a super fun positive crew so you should be someone who likes to work in a bustling environment. There are two children in the house. You cook for the family (+ occasional friends & guests) and typically make extra for staff. Pay is $90k for a 50 hour work week. This is a position for an unflappable Chef who won’t mind not hearing from the client all day and then suddenly finding out she’s having guests for dinner and want four different options. Wonderful and very high profile family of five in Calabasas is looking to hire a second FT Chef. The focus is California Cuisine & Vegetarian. Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, flexible and willing to follow directions to a tee. There is a Head Chef who has been with the family for a very long time. The new hire will work under her for a few months and then the schedule will be split among the two Chefs with the new hire still reporting to the Executive Chef. Most likely, the position will be 3-4 days per week — sometimes it might be five days depending on the client’s schedule. Some travel may be required. This schedule is not set in stone and ALL applicants should be willing to be flexible as service is required BLD + snacks 7 days a week, including some holidays. The kitchen prepares food for up to app. 15 people a day — a mix of family, staff and guests. Encino based family looking for a chef to do drop offs 2x a week. They are vegan with two children (who are vegetarian and picky but do eat meat and dairy). The husband requires an oil free diet. They are also gluten free.
They are looking for someone to make the following for each drop (2-3 days of meals a drop).
1. oatmeal or some sort of hot breakfast bowl, protein balls/ bars for snacks throughout the day or if they are on the go. Juices or smoothie.
2. Lunches for the husband and wife.
3. Dinners for the whole family.

They are looking for someone to make Vegan food not boring. It doesn’t have to be over the top it just needs to taste good, be healthy, have variety and cater to their likes. Ideally, the food for the following day would be something that is better the next day when it is heated up or served.

Looking for someone who is flexible with their lifestyle. They are gone over spring break, winter holidays and over the summers so someone who has multiple clients probably fits what they are looking for more than someone who wants full time.
