This incredible family is looking for a chef to be part of their extended family. When I say this is an opportunity to be a part of a dream team, this is truly it. You must be local to the bay area and ideally live close to Portola Valley so there is not a long commute, and have extensive experience working in private homes as well as restaurants. This family eats extremely healthy and are foodies which makes it that much more fun to cook for. You will be cooking dinner for mom, dad, their darling 2 children, prepare lunch for mom daily, and fill the fridge with breakfast options for the entire family. Please be able to manage a kitchen that is not fully staffed, passionate about clean cooking, able to cook red meat and vegan dishes, comfortable cooking in the private home and responsible for clean up. They would love to see a mix of restaurant and private home experience. The family does enjoy entertaining, so you should feel comfortable cooking plated meals for up to 10 guests. Must have a minimum of 4 years, full time experience working as a chef in a private home. You should also have experience working in top SF restaurants. Dillard Private Chef Job Search
● Ideal (but flexible on this) would be Sunday through Thursday 2pm-7pm with flexibility to occasionally (once every few months) to work Saturday evening when the family is entertaining guests.
● Responsible for preparing simple, wholesome family meals (i.e. protein, vegetables, starch) for a family of five (two adults and three children under the age of six). No dietary restrictions. Family enjoys a variety of cuisines – prefers healthy, organic, fresh ingredients, clean eating when possible.
● Responsible for preparing and serving dinner and prepping lunch and healthy snacks for the following day (soup, salad, etc.). Flexibility to occasionally come early and cook breakfast if the family is entertaining guests.
● Responsible for all food supply shopping, pantry maintenance, kitchen cleanup and overall kitchen organization.
● Able to manage a 8-10 person dinner party and source additional support staff when necessary.

He is a pescatarian, a cool (actually a really really nice tech entrepreneur) that has his kids half the week. Meal prep with easy reheating on Monday or Tuesday nights, possibly Sunday cooking in home weekly Love to emphasize fresh, healthy and easy preparation (maybe) Provide moon bowl ingredients (veggies and proteins) for DIY daytime meals. He might have a dinner party now and then, might also like a hot meal now and then, and might also want you to engage with the teens in the kitchen! He would love someone light and easy going!
