A very exciting position for a talented farm to table chef that wants to take care of a wonderful gentleman and his fiancee. The couple travels the world on their private jet (with you) back and forth from Hawaii to Chicago (and elsewhere). Their food tastes are healthy, good home cooking, sprinkled with some wonderful gourmet meals once in a while. They are looking for someone that loves to have good conversations, and someone who is curious about the culinary world. Pretend you are interested in chocolate – he will send you off to learn about chocolate! You will be living with them either on property, or in a hotel. The homes are fully staffed, so you will have help in the kitchen.

We have been hired by a fabulous high profile to find a wonderful private chef that understands what it means to be of service, be flexible, be inventive, but will also cook healthy. Phew! What a mouth full! This family is looking for a very talented chef that will cook typical American faire that could be a gorgeous buffet, to a beautifully plated dinner for 25 (with help of course!! ) You need to be open to making hamburgers, or grilled fish, sushi, or Indian – You should be well versed, and understand cooking for a private home. The family would love to find a private chef who wants to take care of a family and that wants to be of service.
Menu planning, grocery shopping at local organic markets and kitchen organization are all part of this job. This person could have restaurant experience as well as private chef experience– most important is that you have worked in an environment where service is part of the job. Attitude is important in this fully staffed home. The kitchen is exquisite and recently remodeled. The typical day starts at noon where you will prepare food for the staff, and then start dinner service.
The couple also has several other homes, so it would be wonderful if you would like to travel!
