Our client is a lovely family in Santa Monica with two children (a 9-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl) plus one adorable small dog. Mom works from home, and their longtime nanny is currently recovering from foot surgery. They are seeking a kind, reliable helper to step in for the next 2–3 months, with the possibility of extending longer.

The schedule is every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities include family laundry, driving the children as needed (mileage reimbursed), prepping after-school snacks, tidying and light day-to-day household maintenance and being a helpful second set of a hands in a busy home!

A housekeeper comes once a week for deep cleaning, but Mom would truly appreciate help with everyday upkeep.

Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, experience with elementary-aged kiddos and excellent references!

Compensation: Up to $35 hour net, DOE.

A super sweet family in Hidden Hills seeks a wonderful Weekend “Jane of All Trades” to support their home every Saturday and Sunday, typically 7 8am–5 6pm.

This is a blended household role ideal for a candidate who truly enjoys both children and housekeeping and can move comfortably between the two. The family has three little girls, including a brand-new baby, and is looking for someone kind, calm, and experienced with newborns through school-age children.

During the day, responsibilities include helping care for all three children, assisting with the newborn as needed, preparing simple healthy meals, helping with dishes, and keeping the home tidy and running smoothly.

When the family is out of town, the role shifts primarily into housekeeping focus, ensuring the home is well-maintained, organized, and cared for.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, flexible, and proactive and enjoys being a supportive presence in a busy, loving household. Strong experience with both childcare (newborn through early childhood) and housekeeping is essential.

Morning Shift (6:00 AM – 11:00 AM):
